So from what I can tell, the new episode of Beast Hunters is basically ‘Starscream’s Wacky Adventures in Petsitting’

Did you see the one where Q (John de Lancie) accidentally said: “Or what? You’ll ravish me?” and Sisko (Avery Brooks) was like “I might~” (¬‿¬)
no but it is time to check youtube for ds9 outtakes
Have fun~
And I’m in a DS9 mood again. Really just need to re-marathon the whole series.

Hey all you artists, lemme tell you about this magical place I love so much. It’s called Smack Jeeves and it’s an amazing comic hosting site.
I’m a fucking promo-ing idiot but I’m trying to be helpful to you awesome comic artists.Look at the top image. Nice and clean layout, right? Everything’s pretty easy to find and the staff are very helpful and quick. It’s all self-explanatory. Now let’s look at the place where I hang out the most: my favorites!

As soon as a comic updates, it shoots right up to the first slot of my favorites, letting me know that it was updated the most recently out of all the rest my favorites. (DrunkDuck and MangaMagazine don’t have that feature!) Now let’s click on a comic. I’ll choose one that isn’t that well-known (because honestly, if I’m going to choose one, why indirectly promo a comic that already has hundreds of fans?)

Once again, everything is clear and clean! You can see the comic’s description, statistics, latest comics, authors, news, comic classification, latest comments, and even comics similar to this comic. You can choose to read from the very beginning or from the latest. Pretty nifty, huh? If we hover over the latest comics, we can even tell what date they updated. (This function really helps whenever I’m away from the computer for a few days so I can tell how far I need to go back to catch up.)
If you click on the author’s avatar under the Authors slot, then you’ll be directed to their profile page. There, you can see if they have other comics you’d be interested in.
On to the comic!

I clicked the banner on the comic’s profile page so I was sent straight to the comic’s home. There are a lot of themes to choose from (like Tumblr) and you can edit your own comic’s themes as long as you have a basic understanding of HTML. It’s all user-friendly.
Now look at the side bar. LOOK AT IT. Unlike DrunkDuck and MangaMagazine, you can add PAGES! The News/First/Latest/Archive pages are there by default, but the author added the About page on her own. I’ve seen other authors add character cast pages, links to their other comics/DeviantART/Tumblr, etc. You can add as many as you want (I think)!

Now here are the forums. I don’t go around the forums much. (I’ve repeatedly been told that the people here tend to ignore you unless you have 3+ years of “forum experience.”) I do stick around this helpful little section. People are consistently looking for co-authors and this place is a goldmine if you’re looking for writers (not as much for illustrators but what can ya do). There are also sections to get your comic reviewed, spotlighted, or promoted.
Maybe you found this helpful. Maybe you didn’t.
Maybe you just want me to go the fuck away already.Either way, I hope you at least consider bringing your comic here before going anywhere else. I love comics and it would be awesome if Smack Jeeves got more cool comics.-submitted by Anonymous
